Reason, why do you hate republicans so much?
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">You know, I really, really try to be nice to you, but sometimes you are so obtuse (look it up) it defies description.

I'm a registered Republican. I've actually been a dues paying member of a Republican supportive organization. I would love to vote Republican.

But when a high-ranking Republican compares me unfavorably to a barn animal, well, greg, excuse me for getting just a little hot under the collar.

Not to mention that Blackwell and Burress and those supportive of Issue 1 aren't even framing it honestly nor accurately. Slimey, stinking, unethical liars.

Is that clear enough for you?

I'll say it again.
Homosexuals are not a race, they are not a religion, they are not a nationality, they are not a sex.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah, you've said it several times without making any valid point, something to which we've all grown accustomed.

As a heterosexual single male, it really doesnt have any bearing on my life at all.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I'm not sure why I bother...

I suggest you read Issue One in it's entirety. I'm sure you'll find otherwise. It applies to heterosexuals too, and this is why Governor Taft and a whole host of high ranking republicans and business leaders have come out against it.

I really don't know what all the fuss is about. I have several friends that are homosexual. Lesbian and Gay. I consider them amongst my closest friends.

I've been to the gym, worked out, and showered with one of my gay friends and GUESS WHAT....he didn't hit on me, didn't make me feel uncomfortable.

Why we (americans) are so against letting homosexuals have a marriage that entitles them to all of the benefits that we as heterosexuals have is beyond me. The arguments being put forth about the union between a man and woman being holy, or defined in the bible, yada yada, yada..are laughable in their ignorance.

As a percentage of the population, I'd guess homosexuals are around 10% maybe +/- 5%????

We are in no danger of failing to procreate, or having our race die out. That is so ludicrous as to be just stupid.

Who cares if it's a choice or if it's genetic. Does that really matter? Does it affect you? No...it doesn't.

Issue 1 and Issue 3 are attempts by homophobes to limit privleges to a class of individuals...PEOPLE whom they, in their myopic opinion, deem less human than the rest of us.

Fuck the Phil Burresses and Ken Blackwells of this world. My guess is if given a chance they'd suck a dick in a heartbeat.

All I meant be the procreate thing was to point out the simple fact that homosexual couples cannot have children without the opposite sex being involved somehow.

It cant be genetic unless there is a history of homosexuality in the families gene-pool.
That's why homosexuals are not a race.
They are not a nationality, there is no state or country of homosexual.
They are not a religion.
They are not a sex, yes they have a different sexual preferance but they still are either male or female not an individual sex.

I still dont care who sleeeps with who and who likes who and who dates who because I dont spend my life getting into other peoples business. I've found the dont care approach to that is the best way to go.
If it passes, or fails it wont matter to me that much.

Falls into my "Right to pursue happiness thing"
They have the right to pursue it (legally) but there is no guarantee that they will achieve it.

Then if you don't care greg, why not vote no on Isssue 1 and yes on Issue 3. Or would you deny others the right to pursue happiness even though it doesn't bother you???

Well, I have in fact had homosexuals and friends of homosexuals stand in my way of "attaining happiness" and have even lost a job because of a homosexual who continually harrassed me and went around telling people that I was gay (and not in a joking fashion) but that's not what I'm basing my vote on.
I dont have a vote on the repeal issue since I live out here in Clermont County.
As for gay marraige, I think civil unions are the same thing and ithe issue needs to be worded more clearly. I read the articles, and I have heard what people have said on both sides of it.
I'm not a religious person so that doesnt come into play in my decision on which way I vote on it either.
I'll vote for what is best for me, and since it really doesnt effect me I might just leave that one blank.

If I still lived up there I would vote against whatever reason supported simply out of principle. If reason's for it, it must be bad.

Before anyone goes into the :you must just hate homosexuals thing" (which I dont see how you get that from anything I've said) let me clarify.

I cant stand any of the peices of crap who have caused me problems in my life. Race, religion, sexual preference, nation ality, none of these matter in my defining my dislike for them.
Fuck with my life, I'll despise you forever!

Gay weddings here are now two a penny completley the norm, as they should be, We have now moved on to the next obvious problem, of Gay couples (For obvious reaons Men Couples) wanting to legally adopt children through the adoption agencys.
To my knowledge this is still an ongoing legal battle.
My personel thoughts on this issue are that it is probably not right to allow gay men to adopt Very young children, for no other reason than the kids are not yet aware of there own sexuality. You will get this very soon after the rights of matrimony has been passed.
